Julianna Laine is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Growing up with music always being played around the house, it was natural for Laine to want to become a musician. Her father taught her the four main chords when she was 12 and she fell in love with playing the guitar and hasn't put it down since. The first song she played for an audience was "Love Story" by Taylor Swift and ever since then she has been creating her own sound, bridging country and pop together while keeping a new edge in her songwriting.
Her main musical influences are Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves along with Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. She also plays covers from the likes of John Mayer to Nicki Minaj.
In 2015, Laine recorded a number of originals at Lyx Studios in Turner Valley with Deni Kobi at the controls. She has played at numerous coffee houses and bars around Calgary and is currently in Australia collaborating and performing.
